Wow! It’s been an awesome month and I was able to get over halfway to my goal of making $3,000 from home. For those who haven’t read my previous post, I have a very simple dream. My dream is to make enough money from home so that I can quit my day job! (Wouldn’t you love to do this too!) My estimate is that I’d need $3,000/month in steady income to make that possible.
Making money from home isn’t easy so I’ve identified a few different ways to reach this goal. If one of these methods doesn’t work then I’ll switch to another one.

My November Update: $1,539
It was a great month for making money from home! Although it was a small backtrack from where I was in October but who can complain about $1,500+ in side income? Not me thats for sure!
Here’s how I was able to make $1,539 this month…
This month was great for my websites. There are a few that I run but i need money ASAP! is the largest. I got into blogging over a year ago after reading income updates from other bloggers like Michelle from MakingSenseOfCents and also Holly from ClubThrifty. Both of these ladies are making some serious money from their online work and I encourage you to check them out. They inspired me to give blogging a try and I would encourage you to give it a try as well.
My websites made an astonishing $1,334 this month. This was from a mixture of Adsense, Media.net and affiliate sales. Up to this point I have not done any direct advertising or sponsored posts on my sites.
This site has seen some good growth. During October and November I did a lot of work to increase the user experience of ineedmoneyasap.com. As a result the pages per session has increased quite a bit and the bounce rates have decreased. I hope this better user experience will translate into higher traffic in the future.
- Sessions: 12,786
- Pageviews: 32,438
- Pages/Session: 2.5
- Bounce Rate: 51%
As you can see it was a great month for blogging and I hope to keep this up in December.
If you’re familiar with i need money ASAP! then you know that I love Swagbucks. This is a site that I’ve been using for a while now to make money from home. I don’t use the site as much as I did in the past. All this blogging work has taken up a lot of my time. But I’m still able to make a decent amount of money through my referrals.
In case you’re not aware, Swagbucks will give you 10% of whatever your referrals earn. Thats right, you don’t even have to do anything and you’ll be making money. Over time I’ve been able to get a decent number of referrals and this drove a lot of the $205 I made from Swagbucks this month.
Making Money From Home:
Thats it for this month! I need to start focusing on my other income sources. There are some carpentry projects I’d like to finish soon so I can sell them before Christmas. Hopefully this will boost my income in December. My goal is to make it to $2,000 in December but that will be a difficult one to achieve!
Wish me luck!
